Dell 2400MP DLP Front Projector - Need part to connect Keyboard to Projector

I was trying to find one part for the Dell 2400MP DLP Front Projector… circa 2007-2008.
As I was taking it apart to clean it… I forgot to disconnect the very fine printed circuit that connects the key pad to the logic boards, and it broke at a very venerable spot.
My question is are there still parts for the unit or do is there a possible replacement for a 24 pin cable.
After trying to put the circuit connector back in the projector I pushed the snap connector to anchor the connector ribbon and then the connector broke on one side.  Now, the actual ribbon connectors on the boards on the projector are rendered broken.
The only alternative is that I purchased a remote and it worked without the connection, so it may be the only way for me to use the projector.
Any ideas of how to fix this back to original condition and working?

S320 Replacement LENSES?

Hello.  Off and on for the past year or so, I've been looking for a replacement lens for the Dell S320 projector.  Everyone I contact wants to sell me a lamp.  I don't need a lamp, I need a lens . . . now I need two of them, in fact.  I've contacted our institution's Dell representative; dead end.  I contacted Dell part sales directly, and they sold me the lens CAP.  I've searched and searched every way I know how, and I'm coming up empty.  Does anyone here have any suggestions?

One lens went bad on us about a year ago.  We couldn't figure out what happened to it.  I guessed that someone tried to clean it with some sort of abrasive cloth or solvent.  Now, just in the past couple of weeks, another projector was giving us a problem, and this lens is even more damaged than the first one (we have three of these units).

Our best guess at this point is that they're cooking, and melting a little bit.  The coating is worn off in an area about the size of a dime, and the plastic (the lenses are not glass) is rippled enough so that you can both see and feel it.  The inside of the lens cap is also marred in an area about the same size and position as the damage to the lens.  I'm assuming these are gone with no way to repair them.  I think users have not been allowing them to cool properly before unplugging.  We'll do better in the future, but for now I really need to get these lenses replaced.

I sincerely hope that these $560 (or so) projectors are not now useless because of a bit of melted plastic on a part that I would think should be easy (or at least possible) to get.  Help!

Dell M110 Projector Fan Failure!! Help needed

I'm not certain if anyone can help but I'll try. My favorite M110 projector is not longer working due to a fan failure. The projector shut down itself by showing a blinking orange color light. I've been looking all over the place where to repair the projector to not avail.

Does anyone have any idea where to buy/repair the Dell M110 projector?

Lost password for DELL M109S mini projector

Hi everybody, I am a new member, I tried to search in the forum but had no lck at all.
Hope that you can help me.
I have an old M109S mini projector, after long time I wanted to use it, but I forgot the password.
I have asked Dell client support and they said there is no way to reset the password.
I really doubt that this is true, does anybody know if there is any way to fix the problem or the only solution is to throw away this projector?

M410HD VGA input greyed out on input menu

I am working with a M410HD. We are having problems with the VGA input. When plugged into a laptop. One we have used many times in the past. It detects the input signal and switches to a grey output screen, not displaying the contents of the desktop. When you go to the input selection menu screen the VGA is disabled and there is no option to enable it. The VGA is greyed out. I have check the resolution output and made sure that it is within range. Any thoughts?

M410HD Projector Elevation Foot Broken

I have had my M410HD for several years and love it.  the problem I have now is that the front elevation part is broken.  Can I buy it somewhere?  It is only held in by two screws and it slides right out.

Any Suggestions?

Dell 5100MP Lamp failure

We have an old dell 5100Mp projector that sometimes is giving lamp failure error and after switching of the projector and starting up again it is solved. Do you know if it is a know problem ? do i have to change the lamp or maybe there is a problem with the projector itself ?

Dell 1510x projector / PC interface

I just bought a dell 1510x projector; everything seem to work fine, but after interfacing with a USB cable (which I had used to interface my Toshiba laptop with a canon printer), the remote control is not working with the power point presentation slides; I was unable to scroll through with the remote control, but can scroll through with the laptop keyboard. Its windows 10 platform. Pls help.

S510 no interactive click possible

After updating to windows 10 the Dell S510 Interactive projector doesn't register clicking through the pen anymore. Before everything used to be fine.

I tried updating to the latest firmware and drivers, but this made no difference.

When you click the screen, you can see a circle showing around the place that is clicked but nothing happens. Also you can drag a window around but when you let it go, it just shifts back to the Original position.

Any suggestions are welcome

Found the reason for Dell m110 flickering colors

After hours of trying to figure out what causes the Dell m110 to enter this erroneous mode, we can conclude the following: if the Dell projector is turned from on to standby while hdmi signal is still being received from the computer, the next time you turn the projector on, colors will be flickering. We use the m110 projector in one of our commercial devices. We have a couple of hundreds of them and they all suffer from this issue. If you first disconnect the hdmi cable from the projector, and then turn the projector to standby, the next time you turn the projector on, there will be no color problems.

E2416H monitor driver problem

Hello Dell expert.

I purchased Dell monitor from my country.

Monitor model is E2416H and I plugged to my computer and I tried to install Dell monitor driver from CD. But driver installer program shows me following message:

The following connected monitors have been detected:
        Plug and Play Monitor - Def Default_Monitor

Drivers for the following monitors have been found:
        Plug and Play Monitor - Dell DELA0C9
        Plug and Play Monitor - Dell DELA0CA

Drivers for the following connected monitor can be installed:
        None

Please connect your monitor before running this program.

Then I was search this problem your site. I found my monitor model by service tag and  SVC code.

The result shocked me. It says service tag with "<ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>" monitor model is U2717D. Then I download U2717D monitor driver and tried to install it. But its showed  me the same result:

What can I do now? How can I install monitor driver? Please help me Dell experts. Thank you.

Hello, 

I received my Dell 2515H yesterday, I instantly noticed a lot of backlight bleeding and stuck pixels.. This is picture of the pixels.. 
Does warranty cover this kind of thing?

M115HD Can't read MP4 1080p from USB or SD card or Internal memory

I am trying to load videos onto a M115HD so I can present without a computer. 

Problem 1 - The manual says it should read MP4 1080p videos but I can't seem to make that work.  Has anyone ever gotten theirs to read 1080 files?

Problem 2 - I convert my 1080p to 720p and from the USB stick they work great.  However, when I load them onto an sd card they skip almost like it can't read fast enough.  Does the same exact thing when I load them to internal memory.  Has anyone ever gotten vids to read from sd card or internal memory?  Need to know what to convert the vids to so this will work.

Dell 4320

I have a Dell 4320 projector...The bulb light was solid and the power light was blinking. Replaced the bulb and it still won't power on and now the bulb light and temperature light are solid orange and the power light still blinks orange. I tried looking through the manual but I don't know what could be the issue. Anyone ever encountered this or have any suggestions?

DELL 4320 Projector Password Reset

Hi All,

Currently at the workplace one of our dell 4320 projectors starts up with a screen asking for a password and you cannot access the menu settings on the OSD either. Is there a way to reset this password? all the user guide says is to contact Dell if you forgot your password, however I have contacted DELL and all they sent me was a user manual... Also is there a master password you can use?

I have a Dell 1210S Projector that I've been using for several years with Windows 7. I now have upgraded my laptop and to Windows 10. The projector doesn't work with the laptop and there doesn't appear to be any downloadable drivers. Is there a fix or am I going to have to buy a new projector?
